Savusavu's restaurants and bars
Variety and choice
Enjoy an exotic fusion of local, Asian, and international fare.
Farm to table
Most ingredients are locally grown or harvested – healthy for you and good for our community and livelihoods
At your leisure
Take your time to enjoy the laid-back social scene at one of our many bars or restaurants
Captain’s Cafe
The Captain’s Cafe is the meeting point for locals and visitors alike. With its view of the harbour and casual atmosphere, it’s a great place to catch up with friends.
Captain’s Table
In the same building as the Captain’s Cafe (the Copra Shed), the Captain’s Table is a little more formal, and Chef Robin’s menu a bit more elaborate.
Yacht Club
Also at the Copra Shed, this is a blissful spot for a cold beer, glass of wine or a cocktail by the water. There’s live music on Sundays, and a big screen whenever there’s a major sporting event on.
Planters’ Club
One of Savusavu’s oldest buildings, the Planters’ Club has a bar and a casual snack restaurant. It hosts regular BBQs, and welcomes visitors.
Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort
A marvellous setting at the end of the peninsula for a cocktail or a meal. Phone ahead to make a booking; they accept outside guests by arrangement.
Koro Sun Resort
The resort boasts three different restaurants. Phone ahead to check availability just in case they have a function.
Daku Resort
One mile out of town, Daku offers lunches and dinners, and a lovely deck for an evening drink.
La Dolce Vita
A spectacular Italianate restaurant 40 minutes out of town. Phone beforehand to check they are open, and enjoy a special night!
