The Savusavu Tourism Association

This website is owned and managed by the Savusavu Tourism Association (STA). We are a group of tourism operators based in and around Savusavu who work together to promote Savusavu as a tourist destination, and to ensure that tourism development in our beautiful town is both responsible and sustainable. Tourism is a vital sector for our community and we want to make sure everyone benefits, now and into the future.

The STA’s vision is ‘a thriving, environmentally healthy Savusavu town and region supported by a prosperous tourism/visitor sector’.

To achieve this vision, we seek to promote Savusavu and increase visitor numbers, while at the same time helping to protect and/or enhance those elements of the region that provide the basis for tourism – i.e. a beautiful and healthy environment, a clean and attractive townscape, empowered and motivated tourism operators, and respect for local culture and traditions.
